1. SR New Beta Members need to pay a $32 membership fee. This fee is due before the next November 6th meeting.

2. There will be a meeting for the students attending Fright Fest Today during 5th hour.

3. Congratulations to the JH Eagles on your wins over Salem & North Wood.

4. The HS Lady Eagles Volleyball team will travel to Eminence today, October 23rd at 6:45. The bus will leave at 4:30.

5. The MAP reward trip will be traveling to Fright Fest on Friday, October 24th at 2:00 and will return between 12:00-1:00 AM.

6. Red Ribbon week will be as follows: Tuesday, October 28th Minion Day, Wednesday October 29th Wizard of Muggle Day, Thursday, October 30th Neon Day, & Friday October 31st Halloween Costumes.

8. The JH Boys Basketball Team will travel to Summersville Today, October 23rd at 5:00. The bus will leave at 3:15.

9. The JH Eagles will travel to East Carter for the BRL on Monday, October 27th, girls at 3:00 and boys at 4:00. The bus will leave at 12:45.

3rd grade is investigating magnetic attraction and repulsion this week. Today, they are thinking like engineers to create a useful product: a magnetic lock that can open a paper door!

2. Congratulations to Kara Barton on winning Miss Bunker 2025 and congratulations to Andi Turner on winning Little Miss Bunker 2025.

The MAP/EOC Rewards trip to Six Flags Fright Fest is this Friday, Oct. 24th. If you signed a permission slip your child will leave school at 2p.m. and return home between 12:30-1a.m. The students ticket into the park has been paid for, however, we are stopping to eat before the park so they will need money. Also the haunted houses and boo necklaces are extra.

The second grade class held their very own auction today in their classroom. Mrs. Lanham rewarded students with eagle dollars for first quarter for their behavior and academic achievement. Students had to count and pay for their items purchased during the auction. As a total the class spent $722 eagle dollars. A HUGE thank you to everyone that helped and donated items for their auction. Keep up the great work second grade!

3. The JH Basketball Team will host Dent Phelps Today, October 17th at 5:00. Those working the concession stand are: Wyatt, Cooper, & Gus (1 ½ girls and 1 ½ boys)

4. If Sponsors need starting change, please don’t wait till Saturday morning to ask Stephanie. PLAN AHEAD.

Senior Parents!! We will be hosting a FAFSA FRENZY night Nov. 5th from 5-7 p.m. in high school library. Parents and students show up to be entered into the raffle drawing for some great prizes!!!!

Thank you Tiffany Bullock for donating the pumpkins for our teachers. We sure had some cute pumpkins and creative kids at our Title Night.

Title Night is in full swing. It's not too late to come out and paint a pumpkin!

We got to take 26 kids to the pumpkin patch for meeting their AR goal. Our time got cut short due to rain, but we made up for it by enjoying some ice cream at McDonald's. The weather turned nice after our ice cream so we went to play at the Salem park for awhile. Thank you to Canoak Sawmill, Rowdy's, and Simple Traditions by Joey & Roger for your generous donations. We had some very happy kids today.
