1. Thank you to all who helped with the BETA Pie Auction it was a success. Congratulations to Traven Ritter he won the Mexican dinner for having brought the most people to the auction.

2. HS Beta students please remember to return your BETA Agreement forms signed into Mrs. South today.

3. Students Chrome book bags are NOT lockers! All that needs to be in the bag is a chrome book and charger. We are having many of them ripped and broken. Use your backpack and lockers for books please.

4. Seniors - Please sign the form outside Mrs. Goodwin's door by next Friday, Nov. 21st with the food item you will be bringing to the December meeting.

5. Teachers please stress to your students to please get a milk when getting a tray. Students are forgetting then coming back trough and getting charged as an extra milk.

6. Jr. Beta Members: Remember that Mrs. Brickey needs to see your grades by Today, November 14th.

7. HS Boys Basketball will travel to West County Shootout on Monday, November 17th. The bus will leave at 3:30.

8. HS Boys Basketball will travel to Rolla shootout on Saturday, November 22nd at 4:30. The bus will leave at TBA

9. There will be no school or B.E. L.L.S. for Thanksgiving break on Monday, November 24th-28th.

The HS BETA Club would like to thank the community, parents, staff and Mr. Cook for the amazing support at the Pie Auction. BETA was able to raise about $5,000. This money will go toward helping to pay for BETA convention, scholarships, and graduation supplies. Thank you for supporting the HS BETA Club.

The second grade class has been very busy learning all about animal habitats. Each student was assigned a habitat to research and present their information. They had so much fun creating and modeling their habitats to the elementary classes. Great job second grade!

2. Beta Members there is a sign-up sheet on Mrs. South’s door for Pie Auction Donations and Beta Induction food. FYI Senior Beta Members the Beta Member that brings the most people to the event will win Mexican for lunch.

3. Activity day is this week: Today is FBLA during 5th, Thursday will be JR Beta 5th Hour and SR Beta meeting 5th hour through lunch. Class meeting will be on Thursday 8th hour. Mr. Meloy’s Assembly will be Thursday morning. Friday will be STUCO meeting 5th hour.

4. JH Basketball and XC uniforms are due to Mr. Meloy by Friday.

5. The Reynolds County Workshop is collecting canned food items. All donations can be taken to the workshop. Drop off day and times November 4 7-3, November 5 7-3, and November 6 7-2:30.

6. Snow packets will go out Friday, November 7th.

7. Boys Basketball Hype Sock fundraisers are due by Friday, November 7th.

8. Mom Prom will be Saturday, November 8th from 4-6.

The fifth-grade teacher, Mrs. Barton, created a “Haunted Hospital” for Halloween, giving her students an engaging way to explore and solve problems related to the human body’s systems and organs. Students worked collaboratively, using their knowledge and critical-thinking skills to develop solutions.

7. 1st Baptist church has asked that no one park in front of the church on Today.

11. High School Scholar Bowl will go to Sullivan on Monday, November 3rd. Bus leaves at 2:00, competition begins at 4:30. Students will need money to eat after we are done competing.

In fifth grade science, students are exploring how the human body is composed of multiple interdependent systems that work together to sustain life. Through hands-on learning, students are designing and presenting detailed human body system posters that illustrate how organs and systems interact to support essential life functions.

6th graders created an escape room for their classmates. They escaped in 42 minutes 14 seconds with 3 clues!
