The fifth-grade teacher, Mrs. Barton, created a “Haunted Hospital” for Halloween, giving her students an engaging way to explore and solve problems related to the human body’s systems and organs. Students worked collaboratively, using their knowledge and critical-thinking skills to develop solutions.

1. The Following New Beta Members need to pay a $32 membership fee: Regan, Reese, Kiera M, Hadley, Keira T., Emma, Owen, Kayson Wisdom, & Raelee. This fee is due before the next November 6th meeting.
2. Beta Members there is a sign-up sheet on Mrs. South’s door for Pie Auction Donations and Beta Induction food. FYI Senior Beta Members the Beta Member that brings the most people to the event will win Mexican for lunch.
3. All class and club agendas are due by Today, October 31st.
4. Time changes Fall back on November 2nd.
5. There will be a Halloween Assembly Today, October 31st during 5th hour in the New Gym.
6. Trunk or Treat will be on Main Street Friday, October 31st from 5-7.
7. 1st Baptist church has asked that no one park in front of the church on Today.

11. High School Scholar Bowl will go to Sullivan on Monday, November 3rd. Bus leaves at 2:00, competition begins at 4:30. Students will need money to eat after we are done competing.
In fifth grade science, students are exploring how the human body is composed of multiple interdependent systems that work together to sustain life. Through hands-on learning, students are designing and presenting detailed human body system posters that illustrate how organs and systems interact to support essential life functions.
6th graders created an escape room for their classmates. They escaped in 42 minutes 14 seconds with 3 clues!
3rd grade students using patterns and related facts to solve multiplication and division problems.

Ms. Beardsley and Mrs. LaPlant had their first parent connect night with grades 1-5. We watched The Nightmare before Christmas and enjoyed some snacks. Thank you to all the parents/guardians that were able to bring your kids. We will try to have another parent connection in November.
