Summer School field trip on Thursday, June 8th will be to Elephant Rock State Park. Don't forget extra drinks, sunscreen and appropriate climbing shoes! Field trip destination for Thursday, June 15th is still TBD.

I just wanted to let everyone know that the Penny war we had was a huge success. We were able to make enough money to: Donate money for building materials for a new bridge on our playground, give a senior a scholarship, give elementary teachers a small donation for their classrooms, and put money into an account that will be used to help families in need. I am so grateful for all the donations and hard work that went into this fundraiser. Because it went so well this past spring, we will be doing another one this next spring. Start saving your change now! Change does not have to be rolled, but it makes life much easier. 😁 Remember, pennies and cash helps your grade, but silver can be used to sabotage another grade. Thank you all!

STARTS TODAY! Summer School 2023, 8 am - 2 pm. Please keep your eyes out for our students and buses as we begin Week 1 of summer school today.

5th Grade students graduated the DARE program today! They've been learning about drug awareness and how to cope with peer pressure among many other things over the past 6 weeks from their instructor, Mr. Jeff McCarty. Before they received their certificates of completion of the program, several 5th graders stood up before the rest of the elementary students to share posters they made about the most important things they learned through this course.

4th Quarter Recognition for our elementary students today! Very proud of our Eagles and how hard they worked this last quarter of the 22-23 school year.

Wednesday, May 10, 2023 1. HS BETA SKEET SHOOT Saturday, May 13th at the Lion’s Club. 2. The last day of school will be dismissed after lunch on Thursday, May 11th. 3. Mrs. Barton will do schedules Today. It will be done by grade, please wait for the all call. 4. Elementary Awards Ceremony will start at 8:30 in the Old Gym. 5. 5th Grade run out will be around 8:20 tomorrow. 6. Concession Stand will be open for HS Students at lunch today and tomorrow. 7. HS Awards Ceremony will start at 10:00 in the New Gym. 8. ALL LOCKERS MUST BE CLEANED OUT TODAY and everyone must be checked out.

Summer School parents and students: you must attend 2 out of 3 days that week to be eligible to go on the field trip each Thursday, unless prior arrangements are made with administration.

Special thanks to People's Community Bank for sponsoring the elementary door decorating challenge during MAP testing week! Teachers and staff encouraged students to "rock the test" and try their best so each classroom door was decorated to represent that slogan. Congrats to 5th grade for being the first place winners! PCB sponsored a yummy ice cream sundae treat for them. 4th grade took 2nd place and received BombPop popsicles, and preschool took 3rd place and enjoyed blow-pop suckers!
