**Reader's Club Changes**
OktoberFest 2023 was a HUGE success.
Thanks to the Bunker Fire Department for hosting this event for our community.
Red Ribbon Themes for the upcoming week: Lets get all the kiddos to participate. The class who has the most participation all week gets a pizza party!!!

Oct. 27th Friday "Hugs not Drugs" bring your favorite stuffed animal
Oct. 30th Monday "Drugs can't find me" wear camo clothes
Oct. 31st Tuesday "Say Boo to drugs" wear your Halloween costume
The Fox and the Hound float may not have been extravagant, but these kids sure did a great job painting their banner. Thank you to Mrs. Goodwin for sketching it out and letting them all have a specific painting job. You're awesome and the kids did an amazing job with painting.
Our Lady Eagles are playing Bismarck in the 2nd round of Volleyball Districts TONIGHT at 6:15 pm in Caledonia.
These girls deserve to have Bunker Eagle fans FILL the gym.
A pep bus for any student in Grades 6th-12th will leave the school at 4:30 pm. Students riding the pep bus must be dressed in tonight's theme: Camo; Green/White.
Cost of admission is $6/per person.

1. The Beta Raffle Tickets, Money, & Fishing Basket Items are due Monday, October 23rd.
2. High School Scholar Bowl will have practice until 4 PM on the following Mondays: 10/17, 10/23, and 11/6. Students must attend two practices to compete and remain in Scholar Bowl
3. Yearbook students will be out selling ads Today, October 19th. The following students will leave after 2nd hour: Kiera, Jacqueline, Kortney, Jayton, Jesslynn, & Loren.
4. Snow packets will be handed out Today, all students are responsible for collecting work.
5. The Lady Eagles will travel to Valley for Districts Today, October 19th at 6:15. The bus will leave at 4:10.
6. All Parade Floats MUST have your grade level on them to be readable by judges.
7. The JH Boys Basketball Team will travel to Summersville Today, October 19th at 5:00. The bus will leave at 3:20.
8. Congratulations to the following Cross-Country winners: Conference Medals Layton 24th and Kasen 6th. The following medaled: Gabby 4th, Brooklyn 7th, Josey & Jase 13th, Lendon 16th, Kutter 20th, Reagan 21st. Great job everyone.

10. Parent Teacher Conferences are Thursday, October 26th from 4:00-6:30.
11. Juniors, you must sign up for a time to work the booth and bring a bag of candy.
12. The JH Boys will travel to South Iron for the BRL to play Lesterville on Monday, October 23rd at 7:30. The bus will leave at 5:15.
13. The JH Girls will travel to South Iron for the BRL on Tuesday, October 24th at 5:00. The bus will leave at 3:15.

Little Sisters Volleyball Night 2023 was a huge hit! Thank you to the Lady Eagles volleyball team and coaches for allowing the girls to be a part of the team and being role models for these young girls.

It is a BUSY week in Eagle Country with LOTS of fundraising activities being held in conjunction with Saturday's Oktoberfest.
Bake sale items will be sold before and after school and many other activities (gun & basket raffles, fish fry, t-shirts, poker run, etc) are being held throughout the week for Miss Bunker and Little Miss Bunker candidates.
We are looking forward to a fun filled day this Saturday for the 25th Annual Bunker Oktoberfest. Every class will have a float in the parade or a booth at Oktoberfest. Parade begins at 10 am with line-up starting at 9 am.
East Carter meet
The elementary runners had pizza before they went to get soaked at East Carter's meet.
Anyone that would like to take part in the Kiss the Pig competition, can bring money to school this coming week. I will have the cans set up outside the 2nd grade classroom. Money should be put in the cans in the mornings. Whoever has the most money, has to kiss the pig at Oktoberfest!
Little sisters had a fun time practicing with the team in preparation for Little Sisters Night on Monday October 16th at 5p.m.
