1. The Following New Beta Members need to pay a $32 membership fee: Regan, Reese, Kiera M, Hadley, Keira T., Jocelyn G, Emma, Owen, Kayson Wisdom, & Raelee. This fee is due before the next November 6th meeting.
2. Beta Members there is a sign-up sheet on Mrs. South’s door for Pie Auction Donations and Beta Induction food.
3. Congratulations to Kara Barton on making All-District and Jesslynn Damouth for making Honorable Mention.
4. Congratulations to the JH Teams and Coaches on winning 3rd place in the BRL Tournament.
5. Red Ribbon week will be as follows: Today, October 30th Neon Day, & Friday October 31st Halloween Costumes.

14. High School Scholar Bowl will go to Sullivan on Monday, November 3rd. Bus leaves at 2:00, competition begins at 4:30. Students will need money to eat after we are done competing.

Ms. Beardsley and Mrs. LaPlant had their first parent connect night with grades 1-5. We watched The Nightmare before Christmas and enjoyed some snacks. Thank you to all the parents/guardians that were able to bring your kids. We will try to have another parent connection in November.

The MAP/EOC Rewards trip to Six Flags Fright Fest is this Friday, Oct. 24th. If you signed a permission slip your child will leave school at 2p.m. and return home between 12:30-1a.m. The students ticket into the park has been paid for, however, we are stopping to eat before the park so they will need money. Also the haunted houses and boo necklaces are extra.
The second grade class held their very own auction today in their classroom. Mrs. Lanham rewarded students with eagle dollars for first quarter for their behavior and academic achievement. Students had to count and pay for their items purchased during the auction. As a total the class spent $722 eagle dollars. A HUGE thank you to everyone that helped and donated items for their auction. Keep up the great work second grade!
